Foley & Lardner assumed representation of a 15-year-old girl seeking political asylum after suffering persecution in her home country of Iraq. However, all of the girl's documentation—birth certificates, passports—were in Arabic. Through TransPerfect's pro bono program, we provided the necessary translation services free of charge.
