Chernobyl Children Project, USA
TransPerfect's Crimson Life Sciences division has been a corporate sponsor of the Chernobyl Children Project, USA through The Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts-New England Medical Center by providing pro bono translations of the children's patient records.
CCP-USA provides medical treatment and support to children and families from Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine who suffer from radiation-related illnesses as a result of the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster. The children, ranging in age from eight to 15, spend a month in Boston in the summer to improve their health and general well-being.
