February 23, 2005 - TransPerfect Translations today announced that its founders, Liz Elting and Phil Shawe, have recently acquired 100% of the outstanding capital stock of Translations.com. Translations.com was also founded by Elting and Shawe, and is the leading provider of language and technology solutions for business.
As the owners of TransPerfect Translations, the world's leading document translation company, Elting and Shawe have made a stock acquisition which paves the way for the creation of the world's 4th largest translation and software localization firm. The combined entities have 290 full-time employees and over $50 million in annual revenues.
